Broadband is a high speed internet connection that allows you to send and receive emails, surf the internet, and download files.
How do Broadband charges work?
You choose a plan with the monthly data allowance to suit you. Every time you use the internet you are consuming data over your Broadband connection.
If you go over your allowed volume for your plan you get charged at excess rates. Click here to check details of your plan.
What does data mean?
Data is measured in the amount of information that you use (how many megabytes (MB) you download and upload). This is information you are accessing on the internet and includes the downloading of web-pages, files and sending and receiving email.
Are there any hardware requirements?
To use Broadband you need an internet capable device, such as a computer, tablet, or mobile phone etc and a tele-permitted ADSL2 modem. A dial-up modem or any other type of DSL modem will not work. You may purchase a Bluesky ADSL2 modem or purchase your own modem provided it has the requirements above. If you are not sure our team will be glad to assist you with any queries.
Do I have to register?
Yes and there is a one-off connection fee of $75 when you first register for your Broadband service. Contact us for an application form.
